Subject: LMFS backups
Not quite on-topic but does anyone know of anything that will read LMFS
backup format from Symbolics machines.  I'm not actually sure how I
made the backups but it would have been with the standard utility,
whatever that was, and under 8.3 (?).  Probably most are from 36xx
systems but some may be Ivory, if there are endianness problems.  I'm
reasonably sure I have everything I care about somewhere else, but
before I finally throw the tapes away it might be worth trying to read
them (I can physically read the tapes, it's the format that is
problematic).

Mail me instead of following up if preferred.

Thanks
