FAQ Topic - What is Ajax?

Ajax
is shorthand for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. The technology is
based on the `XMLHttpRequest` Object. At its simplest,
it is the sending/retrieving of new data from the server without
changing or reloading the window location.
