WebLogic, Inc is pleased to announce the release of
jdbcKona/Oracle, a native (non-ODBC) implementation of
JavaSoft's JDBC API for Oracle 7.x.  A beta version is
available for downloading from http://www.weblogic.com.  
jdbcKona/Oracle is available for Windows/NT, Solaris,
and IRIX. We will releases native drivers for
Sybase 10 and Microsoft SQLServer will be in beta
shortly.  We will also be releasing a Java-only multitier
driver implementation in early July.

In conjunction with the release of jdbcKona/Oracle, WebLogic, Inc.
is announcing version 2.0 of its popular Java database connectivity
product, dbKona. Affirming its commitment to producing open,
standards-based products, WebLogic has retooled dbKona to
be completely JDBC-compatible.
