the last release was 2008-06-27, so this is a major event.
They don't have the downloads propagated to their mirrors yet.

I don't think they are too serious about this. The documentation link
still points to the 1.7.1 manual.
Things move slowly in ANT land. They are still featuring a conference
coming soon in 2009 November.
