Experimental amd64-linux packages are available at:
http://mlton.org/Experimental
We are currently in the process of preparing for an official release
later this summer.

Will there be a release for x86_64 Darwin as well?

That depends on what you mean by x86_64 Darwin.

The next release will support Intel Mac; indeed, experimental x86-
darwin packages are also available at:
http://mlton.org/Experimental

Since Darwin 8 / Mac OS X 10.4 most naturally supports 32-bit user-
space applications (indeed, "uname -m" says its an i386), it will be
supported as an x86 platform. That may change after Leopard is
released, but, for now, it just "looks" more like an x86 than an amd64
(despite the hardware under the hood).
