I am happy to announce that a complete on-line edition of Starting Forth
is now available at http://www.forth.com/starting-forth. This contains
most of Marcel Hendrix' updates, plus a few edits of our own. In
addition, we have installed all of Leo Brodie's original, brilliant
illustrations.

We do not at this time plan to offer a printed copy of the book.

Please note that we have explicitly granted Marcel permission to present
Starting Forth on his site. We have not authorized any other copies or
versions, on-line or otherwise, and we ask anyone who has a mirror of
this book, or a link to any other site offering it, to delete it and
provide a link to our copy or Marcel's instead.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Elizabeth

Can I just say thanks for making this and other resources available.

The Forth Programmer's Handbook is proving to be another good book.
While Starting Forth is great for introducing the concepts, it's good
to have something more formal for learning the detail.

Many thanks,

Ged Byrne.
