New Eiffel Technology Community workshop at TOOLS 2011, ETH Zurich

This is to announce the creation of a working group and workshop around the concept of a new expanded Eiffel community, aimed at moving Eiffel into the 'new world' of large scale seamless open source (and commercial) development typified by Eclipse, Ruby-on-rails and many other technologies.

To initially examine the concept, I will be facilitating a day-long workshop at the TOOLS conference in Zurich on Monday 27 June, 2011. Any new ideas, no matter how radical are welcome!

I notice some other posts here to do with considering how Eiffel should evolve to catch up with e.g. Scala. I think such topics should be considered in this workshop as well.

We hope to develop a lot of ideas before the workshop, so if this sounds interesting to you, please participate.
