Hi All

Vote for your Application Tool

I invite you to get over to
http://www.KBaseonline.com
to vote for your favourite programming language.
At the moment Clarion is kicking butt BIG TIME!
I am sure you will not allow that to continue.
I have no connection to kbaseonline.com but most certainly with
Clarion - I am a fanatical user!

Correct - that is why I posted the news about the poll to other
newsgroups as well so that other people can also vote - otherwise it
will really be a distorted picture we get here!
And now, for my effort to set the record straight I have been accused
of ADVERTISING! Advertising what, I may ask?
I am lucky I have not been accused of high treason.<g>
I have nothing to do with kbaseonline.com or Clarion, I was just
interested in fairness.
Greetings
Johan van Zyl

Why???
Means sweet FA to me.
I use one or more tools to achieve a result
- someone else uses a different set that's their business
- I don't need to cast votes that will have no bearing on the tools I
use

Then in a case like this you do not cast a vote. It wasn't mandatory,
sorry about the confusion!
I believe they had a problem with the chads, in any case.

You claimed you're 'fanatical about Clarion', so why did you waste your time
telling us to vote for VO when you already knew that Clarion, as you
claimed, is kicking butt. Anyone nowadays can claim anything to boost their
hits to sky rocket non-scientific vote counts that are bloated and can't be
verified.

When you get over to the poll you can see what else is being voted for
- you may see things there that you did not know about - may open you
eyes - an inquiring mind is a good thing. Investigate all things and
keep the good ones.

Sorry but I don't see any point. These "polls" are just rubbish put out by
people with too much time on their hands. We see all the major commerical
packages at the various trade shows where you can get down and dirty with
them. Physically. You can't do that from a list of incomprehensible names
which one person might "vote" 2000 times to get its name up in lights.

...and if its not a major commercial package, I'm not interested.
I can only afford one VO in my life time <g>.
