That said some license issues can arise. I use Directory Opus as my
Windows Explorer replacement. They have told me I can install it to
all my personal virtual machines on my hardware. Other software may
not work that way. A Microsoft O/S needs a license for each install.
How you get them can vary.
Once you try to network virtual machines is where the various flavors
of hardware vitalization kicks in. They don't all do hardware to the
same level of magic or support all possible methods of networking.
Virtual Networks can get tricky given they have to use real hardware
yet can have their own MAC addresses. After you twist that around your
brain it can hurt.
