My other app uses all most all the run time graphics properties and it
tripped up a couple things that are reported but have work arounds.
The key is making sure all you templates register correctly. Don't try
any conversions until they do. Instead of highlighting all the
templates in a directory to mass register them, try doing them one at
a time to make sure each goes through. Keep some notes.
Make as few adjustments to the C7 Redirect file as required. It's easy
to get things confused. Note that the root LIBSCR is no longer the
only place to save class data as it was in C6.
There are other bugs left but only recently is it good enough for me
to use. I have two large apps converted and working well. I have a few
cosmetic things I've worked around and one I'm waiting on.
The IDE has a learning curve. Watch some of the videos made by Bob
Foreman. If you can get the Podcast with the two Bob's that is also a
good one for working the small errors you'll get converting. They are
really easy to fix but you have to know how. It's not fun playing
customer but you need a few days inside the box to feel better.
