Plan to go to church Sunday

This message is for those who have a drawing from within to do so. I want
you to know that drawing is from God. He is reaching out to you to save
your eternal soul from the judgment for sin.

If you hear His call on the inside, then go to church on Sunday. Seek to
learn more about this drawing, why it exists, and what it means to you.

You know that have sinned. You know that you need to be forgiven. You
will find Jesus, His big carpenter's hands, ready to receive you into His
arms, to forgive you for what you've done, and to welcome you into His
eternal Kingdom.

Do not silence His voice. Embrace it. He reaches out to you because He
loves you and wants you to be with Him where He is in Heaven.

I, Rick C. Hodgin, from Indiana, am a sinner. I have been saved by grace.
I do not have my own righteousness. In my life I continually struggle. I
fall down. I make mistakes. I come up short. It was not until I met the
Lord at almost 35 years old that I came to know what it means to be on a
proper course. On the right track.

Until that time I thought I had it all figured out. What I learned from
Him was that there's more to our existence than that which we know in this
world. There is a spiritual component, and that spiritual component is
the true life. It is eternal life. It is the life we do not know until
we come to Jesus and ask forgiveness for our sins.

From that day forward, we are alive spiritually, born again, and forever
changed, sealed from within by the presence of His Holy Spirit, a down
payment for the day of redemption after we leave this world.

Jesus is everything we need. He teaches us about truth, about righteous-
ness, about holiness, about the enemy, and about His Kingdom.

Only Jesus can set you free from sin because of what He did at the
cross. He made a real exchange: His perfect righteousness for your
black-stained sin. He set you free from judgment, and received that
judgment onto Himself. He took your punishment in your place so that
you could be redeemed ... His gift to us as our Creator desiring to
save His creation.

All who come to Him are received. Nobody is turned away no matter what
you've done, for how long, how bad it was, nothing. He will forgive it
all and set you free.

Sin is our weakness, and the enemy of this world (Satan and all his
demon imps) use that weakness against us to keep us in more sin. Jesus
is the cure because He takes our sin away. Once we are sin free we are
again in right standing with God, such that we are alive again spiritually.
He then comes to live with us (spiritually) so that His Holy Spirit is
there to continually guide us into all truth, all righteousness. We
still have free will, we are still in these sin-loving bodies, and we
still make bad choices and mistakes sometimes, but the ongoing direction
and movement of our lives will be toward Him from hat day forward, rather
than toward the world.

If you already know this to be true, reach out to those around you and
teach them the same. And if you are only beginning to see it, then go
to church this weekend and listen to the message. Pay less attention
to the goings on of the people in the congregation, and more attention
to what God has to say to you through the pastor's message, and
specifically through the Bible passages.

Say a little prayer before you go asking God to guide you from within.
If you are sincere He will know this, and He will guide you.

There is comfort in coming to Jesus Christ and being forgiven. A real
inner peace greater than the best inner peace you had as a child in the
comfort of your parent's arms. When they held you close and told you
everything was going to be alright, and you felt so warm and safe and
secure ... what Jesus brings us is even more than that. The pictures
in the video show that comfort in the eyes, in their countenance, and

Both "spam" and "professional" mean that Rick is trying to make money
out of his posts. While many people /do/ make money out of selling
religion, I can't see that with Rick. What he writes is a complete load
of drivel, to the great annoyance of many, and as Christopher says it
drives people away from Christianity. But Rick /believes/ he is doing
good, and his in his paranoid delusive state he takes all criticism as a
reason to continue. So Rick is neither a troll, a spammer, or an idiot
- he is in a different category. Assuming his theology is not in fact
true, then he has serious psychological problems (bipolar disorder,
delusions, and probably paranoid schizophrenia). But you might class
him as a fanatic, or a cultist - there is no clear distinction.

I feel a lot of sympathy for folks like Christopher, and other /real/
Christians, who have a much harder job trying to spread their message
because of fanatics like Rick.

Human beings were created to glorify God. Our very design and
construction glorifies Him. The things we're capable of, our ability
to possess and express thought, to communicate and share, the ability
to love and have joy.

But we also have free will given by Him. And despite His marvelous
creation in our makeup, it is the one part He gave us which He seeks
most of all: to love Him, and teach others about Him so they too can
see Him as He is, and honor Him with their lives.

What a gift it is to glorify God with our free will choices, a repurposing
of the faculties He gave us, back toward Him and for His sake, and
not for personal gain, money, or fame, but to invest labor of your
own free will choice into Him.

Such efforts return a many thousands fold recompense, but more
importantly, we get to serve His Kingdom of growth and life even
here in this world of darkness and death.

To serve Him in such a place is a great honor. It is His gift to "whosoever

I didn't avoid answering his question. The question is not valid.
Jesus went from place to place and taught as He went. He went into
places and dwelt there for a time, and then moved on.

I do not do such things. My life as a Christian involves me teaching
those around me where I am. That includes my regular daily stations
(work, home, neighborhood, things I do regularly like grocery store,
local shops), as well as other active places I go to do explicit out-
reach ministry.

A Christian is a Christian 24/7. The Apostle Paul made and sold tents
for a living. Do you think the people around him only heard his
message one time? Or do you think they heard about it whenever he
was around?

We each determine the scope to which the death of our Savior on the
cross, saving us from eternal damnation, giving us the rights to become
sons and daughters of God, means to us. As for me, it is major. I
place a great priority and emphasis on it. It affects my entire life
with great passions.

And again, it is not for those who reject the message Christians labor.
It is for those who will hear it. And even amongst the shoutings of
those who will not receive, there are yet still some who will hear it,
and are moved by it, and are affected by it to salvation.

I will not silence my outreach efforts because those loud vocal few
who are perishing tell me to sit down and be quiet. They are telling
me that because they don't want to be reminded of what they're reject-
ing. But rather I will continue to teach to all who are around me so
those who will be strengthened by the message, by the witness, have
that opportunity.

It's going to get so bad that Christians will be rounded up and put
into prisons, and even beheaded because they refuse to stop teaching
people about Jesus Christ. It's already been foretold in the Bible.
And all of this rising and growing hate is just a precursor to that
eventual event.

For every Christian who is killed for maintaining their faith, it is
our release from this sinful world, and our entrance into eternity in
His Kingdom. What grander way to leave this world than to stand up
against the multitude saying, "DENY HIS NAME!" where we reply back,
"I will not deny His name, but I will teach you right now that you
too can be forgiven for your sin, including this sin you are perpetrat-
ing against me right now."

It is to eternal life we teach. It is to an eternity of prospering
and love and joy and mutual growth, one to another, a family of the
grandest stature, together helping one another. It is the best of
the best of the best of the best we could ever imagine, and then
some more beyond that. It is that which the enemy tries to keep us
from coming to know and possess by our accepting of Jesus Christ as
our personal Savior and Lord. And it is that which I am going to
teach to all people until the day I leave this world.

You too can be saved, Juha. Jesus will forgive you sin and give you
eternal life in Heaven's paradise with God in a body like the angels
which never ages, is always young, strong, and powerful.

Why won't you receive such a thing? Ask yourself that question. It
is eternal life. Eternal health. Eternal wealth. In a Kingdom
filled with love, peace, joy, everlasting. It's better than the Nexus
described in Star Trek: Generations. And it's real. It's free. It's
yours for the acknowledgment of your sin, repenting of it, and asking
forgiveness for it.

Why won't you receive such a thing? It seems like an easy solution
to arrive at.

Why can't you use a proper newsreader like Thunderbird so that you can
killfile those people you dislike.

These are community newsgroups and people are not going to listen to you
because they don't on a public anonymous newsgroups or forums. We don't
have a moderator and so anything goes here. The main culprit is Chang

It is foretold. It will come to pass. It's already happening in

decade. Jerusalem was declared to be Israel's again in the Six Day
War in 1967. Flash forward 50 years and here we are today, in the
Jewish Jubilee year relative to that timeframe, the Jewish year is
also 5777.

The time for these things to begin is upon us.

I was not certain. My cubicle neighbor at that time (a Christian) was
asking me questions about the Bible. I remembered a lot from Sunday
School and Youth Group, but not enough to answer some of the deeper
questions.

I saw hypocrisy in the church and left at age 15 and never looked back.
I wanted nothing to do with those hypocrites of the highest order. It
wasn't until nearly 20 years later that I was confronted with any type
of requests regarding the Bible again.

During that 20 years I was an atheist. I was absolutely certain in my
own mind that I was correct. But, I never proven it. I had never read
the Bible, for example, to know with assuredness that what I thought I
knew was actually known by me as fact, rather than supposition.

I resolved, at the age of 34 (almost 35), to read the Bible and dis-
mantle it piece by piece, proving to the evangelizing Christian cubicle
neighbor that it was bunk, and in so doing also save him from his own
folly in following the Bible.

I set my sights on getting a true and proper understanding of what it
said, so I could rightly (top-down) dismantle everything about it,
because I was sure I was right.

By setting sights on the truth, God showed me the truth.

Stunned. Floored. In total disbelief. I could not believe what had
happened to me.

I had spent 20+ years with my thumb and my nose at God, wanting
nothing to do with religion or Christians or church or anything. So,
how could it be that I was then KNOWING that He was God, that He was
real, and so on?

It didn't come from me. It came from Him.

through the steps necessary to literally prove it point-by-point,

If you do ever decide to do that you'll find what I found. If you

Go back and read everything I've ever posted if you want. You'll
find that every reply I've made has been to correct something that
was conveyed incorrectly (either by myself, or someone else).

it now, but the day is coming when you will stand in shock and
horror over the fate you've sealed yourselves into. You'll then
look at me and will know in that instance that I reached out to
try to save you by pointing you to Jesus so you could be forgiven.
You'll know then also it's too late.

It is that thought that keeps me posting, because it is not too
