Unfortunately this tedious spamming process seems to be immune to false
assertions; must have been built with NDEBUG defined.

"Suppose it’s all true, and you walk up to the pearly gates, and are
confronted by God," Bryne asked on his show The Meaning of Life. "What
will Stephen Fry say to him, her, or it?"
"I’d say, bone cancer in children? What’s that about?" Fry replied.
"How dare you? How dare you create a world to which there is such misery
that is not our fault. It’s not right, it’s utterly, utterly evil."
"Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates
a world that is so full of injustice and pain. That’s what I would say."

I, the real Rick C. Hodgin, did not write this post.

Please examine the headers to see that there is someone usurping my
identity (and without my permission). I post from Eternal September
and Google Groups only.

Juha, the message I bring is simple:

(1) Jesus loves you.
(2) He wants to forgive your sin and give you eternal life.
(3) He's made it free for the asking.
(4) The alternative is rebellion against Him, and eternity in a
lake of fire, because sin is that heinous, and embracing sin
ahead of truth is that bad.

You can be saved, Juha, from all your sin. Ask Jesus to forgive your
sin and He will. Today. Right now. He will give you eternal life
today. Right now. Just for the asking.

He will change your life ... forever. Literally.

PS -- I love you, Juha. You are valuable. You are important. It's
why Jesus sends us Christians out to teach other people these
things. It's so they know who they are to God, how much they
mean, why He would come to the Earth not in His full glory and
power, but as a man, as one of us ... to meet us where our sin
is and save us out of it. We are important to God, and His
powerful and awesome message of salvation goes forth until the
last day when that opportunity is cut off forever.

Simple indeed :-) It's actually somewhat endearing to see this childlike,
guileless absorption of ancient texts about the gods as if they were
literally true, long after the scientists and the theologians and pretty
much everybody with an education has abandoned this point of view as not
credible. It harkens back to older times, and pre-enlightenment thought. As
always, I would encourage you to listen to more voices, and read some books,
to take a religious studies course at a local college or university. You
would discover that the texts written by men and women in ancient times are
actually far more interesting than you could have imagined. If you feel that
you lack the education to appreciate critical scholarship, it is not so!,
give it a chance.

Be well,
Daniel

The reason you will not receive the gospel message is because you are not
being saved, Daniel. In your rebellion and pride you assert self knowledge
ahead of other things, and therefore remain at enmity with God:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+19%3A14&version=KJV
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come
unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

https://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-dictionary/suffer.html
Suffer -- 3. To allow; to permit; not to forbid or hinder.
Will you suffer yourself to be insulted?

And:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+10%3A15&version=KJV
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God
as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
