“The problem with today’s world is that everyone believes they have the
right to express their opinion AND have others listen to it.

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the
right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored
and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” --

I, the real Rick C. Hodgin, did not write this post. It is written
by someone impersonating me.

Examine the headers and you will see the source of all posts which
are written under my name.

Every post I write about Jesus going forward will be tagged with [Jesus
Loves You], and will include text which points to Jesus Christ, the
Bible, our personal need of Him, our guilt in sin, His willingness to
forgive our sin, and how to obtain that forgiveness and eternal life.

The word "gospel" means "good news." When people share the gospel
message with you, it is the good news that God has made peace with
man, and that you too can be saved from judgment for your sin.

I urge each of you to check this out, and you will learn why sinful
men and women step forward and attack the messenger. They cannot
change the message, so they try to trick and deceive you into some
falseness ... but that falseness will not stand on that final day.
And everyone who embraces that falseness will be cast into the eternal
lake of fire, from which there are no do-overs, no second chances, no
paroles.

Sin carries with it a death sentence ... and not just death in our
physical bodies, but spiritual death. And because we are eternal
beings, the spiritual death there goes on for eternity, meaning total
confinement and isolation from everything in God's universe, wrapped
up in torment and agony so encompassing you will never have another
thought about anything else ever again -- the only punishment suitable
for an eternal being of great power and majesty, made in the very
image and likeness of God, who rejects truth, and embraces falseness.

Here's the fundamental problem you possess, Leigh:

You think only in Earthly terms.

You do not have a thought given to eternity, or that there could be a
real eternal God. Because of that your perspectives are skewed and you
are able to believe lies because all you see is this world and within
the confines of this limited existence what you believe may be true.

But there is more. And until you realize that, you will remain on the
wholly wrong path.

If tyranny guides the course of a person's life, they wind up being
led by the strongest bullies with the most evil guidance.

The goal of each Christian is to teach people the truth. It's a
high calling because mockers will always be here with us until the
day the Lord returns. We are not to be guided by them and their
purposes in silencing us and His message, but rather we are to live
for Christ, to take up our cross daily and follow Him and His many
purposes for our lives ... all of which stem back, in one way or
another, to teaching people the truth.

One hopes that through a process of osmosis it will eventually sink in
that I don't give a fuck what you think. In the meantime, fuck off you
obtuse cunt.

"Suppose it’s all true, and you walk up to the pearly gates, and are
confronted by God," Bryne asked on his show The Meaning of Life. "What
will Stephen Fry say to him, her, or it?"
"I’d say, bone cancer in children? What’s that about?" Fry replied.
"How dare you? How dare you create a world to which there is such misery
that is not our fault. It’s not right, it’s utterly, utterly evil."
"Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates
a world that is so full of injustice and pain. That’s what I would say."

Or in slightly more polite terms:

Rick, your belief in God is no stronger than my atheism; I have always
been an atheist and I will always be an atheist and NOTHING you say will
change that. Given this information why do you persist like a demented
Chatty Cathy doll?

I thought the same thing, Leigh, and I was right. Nobody could change
my mind. Period. In my flesh, I was convinced I was right. But, I
did not have any evidence to back it up. Just my beliefs. So, I was
willing to read the Bible to see what it said. In so doing, I sought
the truth and God gave me a new spirit so that my mind was no longer
the only source of input into my existence. It was from within that
new input that I was drawn to Jesus. Not my mind.

That is the drawing from within that brings us to the place where we're
able to place value on Jesus Christ, because in our flesh we will NEVER
place value on Him.

It requires an act of God to come to God, Leigh:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+6%3A44&version=KJV

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me
draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Our flesh is in sin, Leigh. It will NEVER come to Christ. It requires
a new birth: the born again spirit nature.

Did you not read what I just said or did you just choose to ignore it? I
repeat: NOTHING YOU CAN SAY WILL CHANGE THE FACT THAT I AM AN ATHEIST.

Do you not understand the meaning of the words "NOTHING YOU CAN SAY"?

The details of why you are RIGHT are in the "tldr" part you snipped.

If you have any interest in seeking the truth, then seek it. Read the
parts you snipped.

The details, Leigh... the enemy seeks to keep you from them for a reason.

Still filled with raging hate I see, Peter. How's that working out
for you in all honesty? Do you find it a desirable trait to possess?

There is another way. If you ever get tired of being angry and full
of rage all the time ... know in your heart that there is another way.
