The mass murderer of small children can, through faith, receive the
forgiveness of this terrible sin and enjoy eternal life by the grace of God.

The homosexual atheist who's only crime is to reject faith will, by his
very nature, be eternally damned.

All sin is forgiveable by God (Hebrews 7:25). That doesn't prevent or
alter the harm that was done through that sin. It only means that soul
is not lost to Hell. The punishment for that sin is still paid, but it
is given to Jesus, not us. Our salvation is free for us to receive, but
it cost Jesus something. He came here to bear up the weight of that
punishment so that we could be set free. We have the example in the
very creation of God here on Earth, as by the seed itself is destroyed
so that the new life might come forth and produce many seeds in time.
Jesus took our punishment and was consumed so that we might be set
free from sin. But because He was God, He also raised back to life
on the 3rd day. But that does not negate the real price He paid. It
just means because of His righteous holiness, death couldn't hold Him.

For us, it means God cared enough about us to give man a second chance.
It means God cares enough about His creation to look into each sinner's
heart, to try the reins, to examine the thoughts and intents, and to
know whether or not that individual truly wants to know the truth or not.

All who will receive the truth will be saved, because Jesus is truth.
The rest remain in their condemnation because they have fully rejected
the truth.

Sin already exists in our lives. We are all born spiritually dead, but
our life is only in our flesh because the punishment for sin is eternal
death.

When Jesus takes our sin away, we are THEN alive again eternally, which
is our spiritual life, our eternal life, that which changes us and gives
us the born again nature.

The sinner's crime is to reject the only means of salvation God's given
mankind. Such a soul will remain under judgment and will be cast into
Hell (John 3:18) on that final day.

I did not write the post above. Someone is impersonating me.

I did write the follow-up post beginning "All sin is forgiveable by
