"C++20 approved, C++23 meetings and schedule update" by Herb Sutter

https://herbsutter.com/2020/09/06/c20-approved-c23-meetings-and-schedule-update/

"On Friday September 4, C++20’s DIS (Draft International Standard)
ballot ended, and it passed unanimously. This means that C++20 has now
received final technical approval and is done with ISO balloting, and we
expect it to be formally published toward the end of 2020 after we
finish a final round of ISO editorial work."

"As always, we are not counting on ISO’s publication speed to call it
C++20, it’s C++20 because WG21 completed technical work in February. If
for some reason ISO needs until January to get it out the door and
assigns it a 2021 publication date, the standard will still be referred
to as C++20. That is already its industry name, and 300,000+ search hits
can’t be (retroactively made) wrong!"

I think the jury is still out on 2020 C++. My experience so
far has been that it's not got a lot for me:

Why do you keep doing this? The only point of this post is to advertise your link which wouldn't be so egregious if you didn't try to disguise it with the vapid introduction.

Spammer, be gone!

Just giving some context.

1) Your name's not Flibble. You don't have a persona. You are Leigh
Johnston only, a desiring C++ developer who thinks very convoluted
code he's created is nearly perfect.

2) Do you realize how much spam you add to this newsgroup? You author
reply posts like the one above telling people in profanities to stop
posting their content. That's offensive to people, and you don't
see how you come across. You instead assert yourself as though you,
in your profanity-laced obscene posts, have some justified reason to
post. You do not.

3) How many signature lines do you have on every post you make? And
why do you have so many? Do you remember the reason? I asked you
one time if the number of signature lines you had was enough, and
you, in full rebellion and attitude, went and added so many more.
I've also asked you on several occasions to remove the quote you
falsely ascribe to me, and you will not.

You embrace falseness. You refuse moral and ethical guidance. You spew
hatred and vitriol upon people everywhere. You believe your own code to
be superior. You demean people in their faith.

What value do you add to this newsgroup, Leigh? I haven't seen a single
constructive post from you, only advertisements about your new graphics
thingy, and your insulting posts where you criticize and mock everybody.

You ought to take an honest look at yourself in the mirror, Leigh. You
will not like what you see.

05:
06: “I see Atheists are fighting and killing each other again, over who
07: doesn’t believe in any God the most. Oh, no..wait.. that never
08: happens.” – Ricky Gervais

10: "Suppose it's all true, and you walk up to the pearly gates, and are
11: confronted by God," Byrne asked on his show The Meaning of Life.

17: "Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who
18: creates world that is so full of injustice and pain. That's what
19: I would say."

19 lines.

By the way, God didn't create the world we live in today. Sin did that.
The world God created was perfect. And the world that will be restored
when Jesus returns for His Millennial Reign will be likewise.

Mr. Fry is believing something false, like you, and it will cost him his
soul, like you.

The truth exists for a reason.
Morals exist for a reason.
Ethics exist for a reason.

It's not just for their own sake. They are God's creation, and they are
the way this universe operates ... in all places except here where sin
reigns and deceives people like you and Mr. Fry into believing so many
false things that you're all twisted up in your thinking and beliefs to
the point of condemning your own soul to Hell.

Re-examine your life, Leigh. Time's almost up for this age in this
world. What's coming is the worst time in human history. You do not
want to be here for that.

Remember these things if you find yourself left behind. And don't take
the mark. All who take the mark will be eternally damned with no hope
of salvation.
