The last words of Jesus Christ:

"When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near,
he said to his mother, 'Woman behold your son!' Then he said to the
disciple. 'Behold your mother!' And from that hour the disciple took her
to his own home."

That disciple was John whom Jesus, the gospels affirm, loved in a special
way. All the other disciples had fled in fear. Three women but only one
man had the courage to go with Jesus to his execution. That man clearly
had a unique place in the affection of Jesus. In all classic depictions of
the Last Supper, a favourite subject of Christian art, John is next to
Jesus, very often his head resting on Jesus's breast. Dying, Jesus asks
John to look after his mother and asks his mother to accept John as her
son. John takes Mary home. John becomes unmistakably part of Jesus's family.

Jesus was a Hebrew rabbi. Unusually, he was unmarried. The idea that he
had a romantic relationship with Mary Magdalene is the stuff of fiction,
based on no biblical evidence. The evidence, on the other hand, that he
may have been what we today call gay is very strong.

This is a great thing to celebrate indeed! Rejoice for Jesus Christ would
be welcomed with open arms in today's diverse society!

In following Christ's example I, Rick C. Hodgin, come out today as also
being gay! :D

Please examine the headers. You will see that there is an
imposter pretending to be me. I post from Google Groups
or Eternal September only.

To Leigh Johnston (the one impersonating me):

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute
you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely,
for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward
in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were
before you.

You are blessing me in your hatred of God, Leigh.

To correct the false teachings of the imposter, homosexuality
is a sin explicitly named in the Old Testament and the New
Testament as a sin which keeps you out of Heaven.

Here are the New Testament Bible verses which support it:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jude+1%3A7%2C+1+Corinthians+6%3A9-10%2C1+Timothy+1%3A9-10%2CRomans+1%3A18-32&version=NIV

Jude 1:7 -- Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 -- Lists homosexuality as a sin
which keeps you out of Heaven

1 Timothy 1:9-10 -- Lists homosexuality as a sin

Romans 1:18-32 -- Lists homosexuality among men and
women as a sin

Note: The reference in Jude 1:7 to Sodom and Gomorrah refers
to the Biblical teaching that the men of Sodom were
seeking to have sex with the men who entered the city
and went into Lot's house (Genesis 19:5):

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+19%3A5&version=KJV

This perversion was why Sodom and Gomorrah were de-
stroyed BEFORE the day of judgment, to be an example
for all future generations of the fiery end which
awaits all who embrace homosexuality and other sexual
perversion, either by being an active homosexual, or
by supporting the lifestyles.

God is not mocked. On Earth we are given the space to reveal
to God and all of creation who we are. But when we die, the
bill for our choices comes due. If we received Jesus Christ
as our Savior, we do not face judgment, but have already passed
from death to eternal life. But if we reject Jesus, reject His
teachings, we face judgment, we will be condemned, and we will
be cast into the eternal lake of fire from which there is no
parole, no escape. It is literally only eternal torment to
such an extreme like being burned continually with a blowtorch.

Jesus offers to save you today. It's His great gift of love
and mercy given to us. And His gift is given to divide those
who will be saved, from those who will not be saved.
