Please could you send an email to "bo...@big-8.org" to show your
willingness to be the two new moderators of

"comp.lang.c++.moderated"
"comp.lang.c.moderated"

so that we can start to reopen those defunct newsgroups.

When comp.lang.c++ gets a single digit number of posts a day I fail to see
the point of a moderated group that will probably attract almost none. There's
probably a good reason the above groups are defunct.

I think "Real Troll" originally posted in another newsgroup, probably
something under news.*. Does anyone know which newsgroup it was?

That's because the moderation server got lost years ago, so you just
cannot post anything, even if you want to.
