New moderator: Wil Evers

Hello Newsgroup!

We're pleased to announce that we are taking on Wil Evers as a new
moderator.

Just curious, can we have some moderators from the east such as Asia?
So the posts from our Asians won't be so late moderated?

A good point, but not necessarily easy to provide. We used to have (at
least in std.c++) an Australian based moderator but he moved on (or
rather the organisation funding his work did)

Ironically, though we have a couple of active European based
moderators, work commitments tend to lead to their moderating late in
the day, by which time the US based moderators are also awake and active.

I don't post very often these days (partly due to the delays), but I'd
be happy to volunteer to be a moderator in my time-zone (NZ, GMT+12).
