Hi All

Vote for your Application Tool

I invite you to get over to
http://www.KBaseonline.com
to vote for your favourite programming language.
At the moment Clarion is kicking butt BIG TIME!
I am sure you will not allow that to continue.
I have no connection to kbaseonline.com but most certainly with
Clarion - I am a fanatical user!

So why are you hanging around a VB newsgroup prattling nonsense when you
could be coding?

So you downloaded and modified a robo-voter script. Are we supposed to be
impressed now? I'm afraid I can't read the teleprompter from here. (Yawn)

Correction - I have nothing to do with the poll - I just informed you
about it.
Thanks

Likewise, I just informed your ISP and web hosts about your violation
of their usage policies by spamming your ads across every programming
newsgroup you could find. Buh-bye.

What did I advertise?
I came across this poll on the Internet and informed certain
newsgroups of it so that whoever wants to can vote for their own
Application Development Tool. What is wrong with that?
I have nothing to do with kbaseonline.com or Clarion, I just use it.
You over reacted, my friend. You read things into postings that are
not there!
Greetings

It is off-topic in a technical discussion newsgroup devoted to Microsoft
Visual Basic. This newsgroup is for technical discussion of, and technical
questions and answers about, Microsoft Visual Basic. It is not about some
argumentative knucklehead letting us in on the fact that somewhere on the
Net, there's a poll that we could vote in -- GeeMineee, a poll! I wonder how
many polls are open on the Net on a given day?

I suggest you search out a copy of RFC 1855 for Netiquette Guidelines and
RFC 3098 in regards to advertising, which is exactly what you were doing for
this poll.

Please cease and desist from trying to justify your actions and your massive
crossposting -- they are unjustifiable. Your continued arguments are nothing
but trolling. If you troll for an argument, you are likely to catch one, but
if you keep trolling in this newsgroup, you are likely to draw complaints
under the authority of those RFCs to your ISP, who might just "take the
appropriate action under the ISP's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use
Policy" that the complainers will urge.

OK I will keep this short, you say I keep trolling, which is nonsense,
I
would have posted once only, but for the misinformed and malicious who
keep
making comments that I feel I have to counter - to you actually find
fault
with that? Do you know what crosspost actually means?
The poll was not just one of the many you find on the net - it was
about programming languages and as far as I know VB is also one, not a
good one, but it qualifies to be included in the poll..
You are over reacting. Get a life!
And now you are taking me on in my private mailbox - OK I will not
report you.
What do you do to people who post about Penis Enlargemenmts?
Greetings

Using the term "crosspost" in your case was being charitable, an
attitude I consider unwarranted. Multi-posting your drivel across so
many newsgroups is much, much worse. Allow me to refresh your memory:

Note that the spam thresholds are not hard-and-fast, precisely because
of the counter-arguments you are likely to make:

Why, do you want what they got? Even though their gonads now appear
much larger than before, they're also much, much flatter...

*snicker* Are you that clueless about spamming and /or trolling? Do
you understand that if you send the same email and /or newsgroup
message to sufficient enough different URL's you are spamming? Do you
have any clue what the general feelings towards spammers are? Do you
grasp that any post to a ng that has the purpose of generating a
negative response that contributes towards causing a ng to flame
itself into ashes or fall apart is considered trolling?

I do not yet know if you are a troll by my standards. I do know you
have been asked nicely once to leave without any more poll
announcements. I do know you have been informed about how this ng
feels towards "bucking the rules" if you will.

>The poll was not just one of the many you find on the net - it was

We can find polls we care about without your "assistance" as you may
call it.

>You are over reacting. Get a life!

*snicker* You are really clueless and naive. You should go away
before any one who has a really short cyber fuse cooks off. These
sort of people do exist in this very ng. Is this worth risking your
net account over?

>And now you are taking me on in my private mailbox - OK I will not

>What do you do to people who post about Penis Enlargemenmts?

Flaming this ng(*1) will only result in flames or _worse_ back. You
must have a cyber S&M urge.

This is as nice as warning as you are going to get on this ng. Take a
hint and go away with your polls. If you have something dealing with
VB as a programmer, then do come in and stay.

1: This ng is deemed "Low Medium Nasty" when provoked concerning
flames by myself. Beware, if you have really cross posted this
message everywhere like it is suggested, you will be charbroiled very
soon. I know the some people in another ng well enough.
