Is there a big difference between the
alt.lang.basic Newsgroup and the comp.lang.basic.misc Newsgroup?
What is the difference?
What is not allowed here in the sence of BASIC?

Greetings,

Gordon

No.

>What is the difference?

a.l.b may not have as many readers as c.l.b.m because many
corporate/government sites do not carry alt.* groups.
However, this is a moot point in present times because there're only
ten or a dozen participants left on USENET these days anyway. :-)

alt.* groups typically carry more crap than the Big8 groups, but
saying that is a bit of an anachronism because these days all
newsgroups carry much more crap than information. As a fine example
of this, you need look no further than comp.lang.basic.powerbasic in
its present incarnation.

Cheers, Phred.
