Along with fixes for customer reported problems, Service Level 14
contains the following enhancements:
All platforms:
Enlist is supported in selective specification expressions.
The maximum length of a simple workspace name is increased from 8 to 64.
The active workspace name is displayed in the titlebar of the Session
Manager window.
Windows:
A new menu, File, is added to the Session Manager menubar. File
contains two submenus - the existing Log menu and a new Workspace menu
that allows APL workspace files to be located and brought into the
active workspace using standard Windows file facilities.
The Undo facility is added to the Object Editor. It is accessible using
the Edit menu or from the toolbar. Each use of Undo backs off one
keyboard or clipboard operation.
The Remove Unused Locals choice is added to the Object Editor Edit menu.
This choice removes duplicate and unused names from the header when
editing functions and operators.
The font size in the session manager and object editor can be changed
using the key combinations Ctrl+MouseWheel or Ctrl+Keypad + and
Ctrl+Keypad -
Reverse video is supported in the APL2 Colors dialog.
In the object editor, new output classes are defined for Syntax Error
and URL to allow separate customization of the colors for these output
types.
Service Level 14 is available through the Support option at the APL2
home page to customers with a Software Maintenance contract.
Further information on the new facilities will be found in the updated
APL2 User's Guide and on-line help after installing the service. A
complete list of fixes included in this level will be found in the
updated README (Unix systems) or "Service Information" (Windows systems)
file.
