Distance Center Eidos, Russia invites students of all nationalities to take
part in exciting distance competition on creation of an art triptych
entitled "Past,
Present, and Future" with the help of computer technologies.

Full Project Description:
Distance Education Center "Eidos", Moscow, Russia invites students of all
ages and nationalities to take
part in the international distance project-competition on the creation of
an art triptych entitled "Past,
Present, and Future" with the help of computer technologies.

Schools and individual students will have a great chance to post their best
works in the MILLENNIUM
ART GALLERY (MAG), a virtual, online gallery hosted by Center Eidos.
Students will meet new friends
& join a wide circle of like-minded persons from Russia, America, England,
Ukraine and other countries.

People and Destiny (Fate)
Nature and Ecology
Space and Time

The students' art works are first published on their school or local sites.
Center Eidos will make out a
summary table with links to these sites. Students who don't have their own
pages in Internet can send
their works to the Project Coordinator in Moscow gal...@accessnet.ru

Distance conferences via E-mail will be held across all project stages.
Students from different cities
and countries will interact with Russian and American coordinators of the
project, including teachers,
artists, and computer specialists. Students can also discuss problems and
share original views and
opinions on art with other students from anywhere on the Earth.

Competition judges will select finalists, who will then be presented in
distance conference via E-mail
and Chat.

The main prizes are original works of art by Gary Clark, American artist
and Project Coordinator from
Clearwater Beach, Florida. Also, traditional Russian souvenirs will be
sent to the foreign
winners and prize-winners of the project. The best triptychs of the
students will be posted in Millennium
Art Galllery of Center Eidos. Students and teachers will also be invited
to email Gary Clark for
discussions on art, imagination, and the creative life. Above all,
students will be sharing their visions with
the people of the Earth!

Objectives:
PROJECT IDEA:
Creation of international Millennium Art Gallery with students'
masterpieces devoted to the Third
Millennium on local sites of schools and Center Eidos server.

PROJECT GOALS:
Creation of art triptychs: "Past, Present, and Future" in one of the
categories below with the help of
computer programs, giving a short description of art triptych idea in one
of the official languages of the
project: namely, Russian or English.

Registration Instructions:
Individual students and groups of the students registered in one of the
four age groups can participate
in the project:
junior (6-9 years)
middle (10-13 years)
senior (14-17 years)
mixed - for groups (6-17 years)
Each student-artist or group of artists can present one work in one of the
chosen categories.
