The Mission of the Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver is
to educate and inspire artists, students, and the general public
about important new developments in the visual arts be they
regional, national, or international.
WHO WE ARE
The Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver is a group of art
lovers who have been working since 1997 to establish a
museum of contemporary art in our city, like those that exist
in other urban centers. Since its founding, membership has
grown and several events as well as three exhibitions have
been presented.
OBJECTIVES
The Museum's program is to present exhibitions, lectures,
symposiums, workshops, tours, films, publications, and
other activities, always striving to reach all segments of the
public. Exhibitions will feature paintings, drawings, sculpture,
photography installation art, performance art, video art, and
computer art. In short, art work in all mediums by international,
national, regional, and local living artists.
