In this issue of WebSafe we feature "The Impressionist".
I hope you have had the chance to see the "Impressionist"
on A&E's Biography. If not than this web site is the next best
thing or may be even a better thing.
As an artist I watch anything that has the name "Impressionist"
attached to it. This web site doesn't disappoint.
The painters that are featured are: Degas, Pissarro, Monet,
Renior, Morisot, Bazille, Cassatt, Manet and Sisley.
Here are just some of the stuff you will find at the "Impressionist Web
Site":
-Take a virtual tour of five Impressionist's paintings.
-Click on the Impressionists' names to explore the techniques these
artists used to create their masterpieces.
-Check out their: Theme - Color - Brushwork
-Download and print out a study guide.
-Read and print out the Biographies of each.
-Paint an Impressionist Masterpiece - This is neat. You have the chance
to paint an Impressionist's Masterpiece. You will need "Flash" for this,
but this is an example of what you can do online at this time.
