I have lost an outlook.pst file. Does anyone have any ideas on how to recover?

Cindy,

Before trying to "recover" the pst file. Do a search on the entire PC
for *.pst and see what comes up. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure
what to tell you.

I assume you've already done a "search for file"? You can find free
recovery programs all over the internet. Try www.cnet.com or
www.topdownloads.net - using "utilities". Some of these can find
these files. Losing a .pst file is common. It's buried deep in your
directories - and the "search" usually finds it easily.

what version of outlook? do you know the exact file name? do do a
search for that file name, and get back to me...
