To avoid obvious questions, I am using wamp with apache 2.2.21, latest
versions of php, phpmyadmin and mysql on windows 7.
I have all of the mainstream browsers so I know this is not the
problem.
To the problem:
I am a univesity student and stay on university accommodation, as such
there is a university controlled wireless proxy network.
This is the same proxy used in all the universities' institutions, the
problem is that the proxy blocks the localhost.
The proxy uses port 80 and has login credentials including a domain.
I would appreciate all help in this regard as I would dearly love to
get my dev environment up and running!
