prednisone in dogs with seizures

I have a golden re4triever who gets a rash on her belly every time we
take her camping. They give her prednisone, she then has a seizure.
She is a seizure dog and on phenobarbitol. Can not find any reson for
her rash. We have camped all different places, in Oregon and
Washington. She swims in lakes and rivers, etc. Help.
