How to get images from Mac to Mosaic

post seems like I don't know what I'm talking about...
We have some color images done in Cricket on a Mac. We would like to
have them available from Mosaic on a Sun. A couple of people tried
one method of getting them over (I don't know exactly what method they
used), and the images ended up monochrome. Any tips on the best way
to get them displayed in color under Mosaic?

Get yourself a copy of GifConverter from your favorite archive site. Just
save the Cricket file as a pict and use Gifconverter to change it to gif.

Instead of doing the Photoshope trick of setting RGB to 181, which only
makes the backgrounds appear transparent on a grey background, not white
you can instead use a little utility called oddly enough, Transparency.
Works wonderfully at converting your gifs into 89a format. You still nee
GifConverter, photoshop, or Graphic Converter to make the pict into a gif
though.
