I screwed up and need some help

I have a Mini Mac with OS X& iLife '05. I bought Leopard and installed
it not noticing that it won't work without the Intel processors. My
widgets, and everything stopped working or disappeared. Safari is
still in the DOCK as are most of the applications but for example I
cannot open Safari. I "reinstalled" iLife and lost everything. For
example, bookmarks, iTunes, iPhoto etc. I was able to upload photos
from a DVD I use as a back up and I have to find a CD that I have my
iTunes backed up on and upload them.
I keep seeing in my HD "previous systems". I know that all the stuff
is not lost but I don't know how to access it and be able to use my
stuff from before I screwed up. Anybody able to help me? Much
appreciated!
