Old Microsofter and Netscaper looking for a text-bases browser

Hi!
I'm an old MSIE and NN user and now I'm looking for a text-based browser (if
possible cost-free) running under Windows 95 to check my homepage, whether
it works proper with such a browser too. Is Lynx such a candidate and where
can I gather it? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Lynx is indeed a text only browser. Many ISPs have Lynx installed on their
server and all you need to do is telnet into your account and type Lynx to
start it. If that is not available on your server you could also install it
yourself if you have shell access. There is a very comprehensive list of
browsers (including Lynx) andthere download sites that includes all
platforms and current as well as older versions in the Reference Room

Or easier: Get Lynx for Win32 at
http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm
It may take some tweaking to optimize it, but it works fine. Email me
if you want help setting it up.
