Is it possible to save an Intranet site, all the links etc., to a
laptops HDD? The reason that I ask is that some of our staff that
have been working in the field have complained that they do not have
access to information on the companies intranet site. Any help or
suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Xarathos,

It takes far more than just replicating the disk to get your Intranet
to be available off site. Your intranet implementation can easily
span many different systems.

Many enterprises are moving to hosted Intranet solutions to solve the
problem you've described. Hosted intranets not only provide more
features to make work life easier but they're fully accessible from
anywhere in the world, as long as anyone has an internet connection
and a browser.

How about if when you visit the Intranet you choose Favourites > Add
to Favourites > then tick "Make available offline" and look at the
customize options to store multiple levels deep. This might be a good
starting point.
