Pygopherd on Windows?

Hi there. I'm having difficulty getting Pygopherd to work on Windows. There seems to be 0 documentation on the subject, except for "edit the config file" which isn't much help. I know next to nothing about Python too. Maybe I'm just hopeless but I really need a HTTP gateway without having to redirect to an external proxy. Can anyone help me out?... more »

Pygopherd bug (files with ".." in them)

I was trying to host some files on my pygopherd server and found that if the directory contained a file with two dots in a row wouldnt load. I found the function below in handlers/base.py was causing the problem. before it was searching for ".." in the selector, instead i have it searching for ../ and /.. now. below is the new function i made, just... more »

Is there a version of pygopherd compatible with this yet? I'm alright with python but I'm not sure how big a job it would be to convert to py3k or if I'd be able to. As the inevitable arrow of progress barges on I don't want pygopherd being left behind.
