I agree.
The only one I'm aware of are the catalog vendors. But I like finding
out what eveyoneelse is doing.

I'd appreciate that information as well. I've *just* started a site on
home automation - pretty scant on information at the moment, but I'm
working on it. It'll grow (and hopefully start to look a little nicer!).

Any tips & info that people would like to submit is welcome.

I have quite a few links on my web page: www.io.com/~hattersj Look at
both addresses and links. Mail me if you find any bad links. I have
also a link to Dan Hoehnen's home page there and he has a lot of links.

I started my Home Automation Index over a year ago. Here are all of the
sites I know. I am updating it all the time with suggestions from people
in this group and from what I find while surfing. Hopefully, this thread
will unveil a few more sites.

We deal mainly with the industrial automation and building automation. Our converters can make your devices communicate with each other if they are on different protocols.
We have very user friendly and very intuitive SCADA that can help you control and monitor your devices.

You can rely on us for for a complete solution for your Protocol integration.

For a designer and integrator of open standards/protocol KNX and DALI in the UK i'd like to add to the mix http://www.intecho.co.uk/home-automation/. They work direct with the big name manufacturers like WAGO, Jung, Gira etc.
