Suggestions for your old XT-can:
- door stop
- step stool
- wheel chock
- anchor

Seriously, there are several dos version of HA programs that will work
with the X-10 CP290. Since many of our industrial/commercial customers
try to use the oldest hand-me-down computers for their building automation
systems, we also have software for our computer interface that runs on
minimum 640k RAM (490k avail) Dos 3.2, CGA (not color display, but CGA
card). You might also consider using a stand-alone controller and
donating your old computer to a pre-school, boy's club, church, etc.
