Mail users can now quickly cancel sent e-mail messages!

TOTAL Recall allows Lotus Notes mail users to delete copies of a
sent message. If a mail user sends an email to the wrong person or
simply decides to cancel it they now have the ability to click a
single button to recall the message. Total Recall supports recalling
messages between internal Lotus Notes mail users. The mail user
simply selects an e-mail in their "Sent" view, then clicks the
"Recall" button. Optionally leave a stub message in each mailbox.

Send Bulk Emails with Personalized Salutations using Lotus Notes |
DominoNews

You can now use your existing Lotus Notes mail system to send email blasts
such as newsletters, product alerts, etc. to your customers. IVE
Technologies
sells a Lotus Notes product called Print Merge Express which supports bulk
emailing, as well as, mail merge printing and graphical reporting
functionality. The tool allows you to send email blasts to specified
customer
email contacts in your Lotus Notes Personal Address Book or other Lotus
Notes
database. It will send one email per contact which is addressed in the "To"
field, so if you have 1,000 contacts then 1,000 individual emails will be
sent. Optionally, you can personalize the salutation of the email such as
"Dear Mr. Smith,". The email blast can be sent immediately or scheduled
daily, weekly, monthly with optional load balancing functionality. If
you are
storing your customer contacts in another system such as an Excel
spreadsheet
you can import them into the provided sample database which can then be used
for the email blast.

Sony to sell world's lightest notebook PC | CNN Tech

apan's Sony Corp. said on Wednesday it plans to start selling the world's
lightest notebook computer in December in Japan, in a bid to boost its
presence among business users. Weighing 898 grams, Sony's "type G" Vaio
computer will be the lightest laptop PC, and comes with a 12.1-inch liquid
crystal display (LCD) screen, the electronics and entertainment
conglomerate said.

The indictment charges Victor Faur, 26, of Arad, Romania, with leading a
hacking group called the "WhiteHat Team," according to a statement from the

the world.

The security model of that BlackBerry on your hip isn't holding up very well

Intel to invest up to $1B in Vietnam | CNN Tech

Intel Corp., the world's largest chipmaker, has received permission to
increase its initial investment in Vietnam from $300 million to up to $1
billion, a Vietnamese official said Tuesday. Intel is constructing a $300
million chip assembly and testing plant in Ho Chi Minh City. Its original
license, granted in February, allowed the company to invest up to $605
million.
