I'm looking for a way to draw in the UNIX environment. I've been working on
a Mac and I'm getting really sick of having to convert things across the two
platforms that I use. Anyway, I'm curious to know what people think of the
port of Adobe Illustrator to the Sun platform. Has anyone on this group used
it? What formats will it save as? What about CorelDraw? I'm looking for
something in this vein that will (preferably) run under Solaris. I would
like to be able to output in GIF and XBM, but I'm able to do the conversions
if that's necessary (and possible). I am open to other suggestions. Right
now, if I could get my hands on something as simple as MacDraw for UNIX, I'd
be happy.

Thanks for any advice you can give.
