In article <bqg0c8$ka...@newsg3.svr.pol.c o.uk>,
The 'game' concept is entirely reliant upon the artwork received.
(granted, this is a little backwards than is typical but...) Its
understood that some images may require compositing to enhance the image
(say an 'orc fighting a wizard' through the skillful use of Photoshop),

 Hi,
if you're gonna design a games box then you'd probably want to give people
an idea of what type of game you're intending on advertising. Then people
could submit appropriate work, ie. skate boarding , shoot'em up, role play
etc...
Phil b

 Hello.
We have a school project in packaging and my idea was to do a game box.
a number of other students want to do the same now. we'd like to know if
anyone has renders of characters or scenes that they would be willing to
allow us to use in our packages. All artists will be credited on the box

Just export the geometry data from the 3D program you are using, most
geometry file formats store some kind of vertex array and triangle
array. Then load that data into vertex/index arrays in OpenGL and use
them as you please.
-- Nuclear / the Lab --

Hi all, does anyone know how to get back openGL code that will generate the
same model from some modeling tools, like 3D studio/ maya/ RIB? I want to
use the 3D model that I built before in my openGL code. Any convertor can do
this? Thx.
Raymond
