Any renderman-related wikipedia contributors here?
I just noticed its article about RiSpec at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RenderMan_Interface_Specification says:
"The RenderMan Interface Specification[1], or RISpec in short, is an
open API developed by Animal Logic. It was later sold to Pixar
Animation Studios to describe three dimensional scenes and turn them
into digital photorealistic images."
I guess this is... how do I say it politely... incorrect? :)
I would like to second that and also add that the person who stated
that is an imbecile and really, like so many other people who work in
the I.T industry needs to learn their history as a matter of course.
After all, how can you know where you are going, if you don't know
where you have come from. I find a good one to ask is "Where does the
term "boot" come from?". Some of the answers you get are hilarious.

Looks more like someone (from that IP) who did massive amounts of
bogus edits (vandalism). There are morons everywhere. They might even
be the majority ;-)
