Hello Katie, Melissa and Patti! Hope to see a lot more Print Artist
lovers in this newsgroup soon.

I'm hoping this note makes it to the proper place...I tried posting once
before but never saw it "posted".

Welcome aboard! However if you're more interested in exchanging between a
few friends, you might be better served by e-mail or InternetRelayChat.

Our hope is that we'll find some new friends here and get some discussion
going and perhaps ultimately get a newsgroup devoted to Print Artist. Have
to start somewhere, and since PA is a computer graphics program, we thought
this might be an appropriate to recruit new people to try PA, and join our
quest.

Actually, I was trying to generate an overall interest for all Print
Artist users to write here in this newsgroup area. Right now there seems
to be no place where "Print Artist Users" are gathering, and we're trying
to correct that.

Thanks for your input, though.

A newsgroup dedicated to Print Artist -- you mean there isn't one
already? What a shame. There should be one on the Internet, since
there was once such a big, lively, sharing group of PA people on a
piddly service like Genie...wonder where they all scattered to?

Ken... have you been using Print Artist for long??? I started off with Print
Shop a ka-jillion years ago (about 1983-4?).... upgraded and added graphic
packages and was happy with it - LOVED it, until I was introduced to "Instant
Artist." Haven't touched Print Shop (Delux) since - other than to borrow
graphics!!!

4.0 is on the way... Shall we GUESS at what some of the new features might be???

Glad to meet you! Katie

Hi Katie,
Ok here I am as requested. I haven't been using PA very much lately.
I'm waiting for the new 4.0 version. Although I should hurry up and make
my get-well card for Merideth. She is such a sweet little girl.

Hi Lana,

When is 4.0 supposed to appear? Will I be able to update from 2.5
since I never upgraded to 3.0?

Hi Kathie,
I heard sometime this fall from someone. I think PAUC will let you
upgrade. I've never skipped a version wouldn't know.

LaNa... Tell me about Merideth... I don't know anything about her!!!

I ust PA daily.... Today's task is to print out little business card sized
copies of my scanned artwork... and cut them up to display as a "portable
gallery" in a business card folder... Too much fun!!!

Glad to see you here!

Hi Francisco!

I know what you mean... when I first started with Instant Artist - having used
Print Shop packages for YEARS... there was something odd about it... I thought
that I'd NEVER give up Print Shop... and kept on buying upgrades and new
graphic packages... HOWEVER, once I took a SERIOUS look at Instant/Print
Artist... I got over those feelings <G>!

They were probably feelings of LOYALTY...

or maybe it's just finding a group of people to talk about PA with - jogging
creative efforts and sharing! It's wonderful to send files to one another - as
they upload/download in a matter of seconds...

Glad you found us chatting PA here... and look forward to hearing more from you!

Katie
