Make sure you have the latest hard disk drive driver from microsoft
in some cases win 95 will see your full drive for read write but not
for virtual memory allocation. I went through this with a 1.2gig
on a micron system from the factory. did you use the driver's that
came with your new drive this may be the problem hope it helps.

When I initiate Photoshop I am getting a "There is not enough memory
(RAM) to launch Photoshop. (Which from reading the tech files, seems
like a common error!) Following Adobes instructions, I have deleted
the PHOTOS30.PSP file. I have also re-installed 3 times but to no
avail.
What has changed sinced 'shop worked last is the fact that I upgraded
my disk drive from a 540MB to 1.7Gb and also went from a Windows 95
upgrade over Windows 3.1 to a full Win95 installation. Everything else
is working fine.
I have a P120 with 32MB of Ram and using QEMM 8.0
Please help, desparate,
Ted
- Get rid of the QEMM 8.0, and let Win95 manage the memory.
- Check that the "Memory Preference" are set correctly.
