May I ask if anyone has read the photo realism techniques book by Bert
Monroy and could comment on it.

I would really like to learn more about this type of work, but have seen
very conflicting reviews on Amazon. Would be most grateful for any advice.

Also, I have worked through 'P6 CIB' (excellent) and wonder if 'P6 Studio
Techniques' would be a suitable follow on. Is it the 'next stage' or does it
cover similar ground?

The Monroy book presents a lot of very useful techniques, but assumes you
are fairly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. Also, don't expect quick
results with these techniques; they take time, just as traditional painting
does.
