I'm scanning in family and school portrait photos, converting to
watercolors, and printing out on inkjet watercolor paper as a fund-raiser
for my son's school - any help or tips on converting people photos to
watercolor would be greatly appreciated!

Rick, Tip No 2 link is for merging background into areas of a photo? Is the
changing to watercolour link available?

Just to ask, did you use the Filter->Artistic->Watercolour to created the
pears on a table watercolour (tip No 5 I think) on your site or was it a
third party one?
