Dang, I have that on an old machine from Frontpage 97. I didn't relize that it worked
with PS also. I'll have to see if I can find it.

It is the best Photoshop plugin that Microsoft produced. It came bundled
with an obscure piece of software called Fontpage 97.

Sorry for the spate of messages.
You can take the Impressionist files right off the FrontPage 98 cd and
put them in the plug-ins folder without installing or registering.
It's a neat plugin that turns a picture into an 'Impressionist'
painting with MANY controls like chalk, paint, pencil, watercolor,
etc. Plus controls for brush, strokes, color, paper, effects...

I called around to someone that uses FrontPage to see if it was bundled with the CD
still. She said it was and mentioned that it was about a 6+ meg sized plug-in with
all the brushes and stuff that loads with it. I had it but I think we got rid of the
software sometime back.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll have to look around the bargain bins for
FrontPage as I don't recall seeing it around recently.

Does anyone know if that plug-in is still available on the FrontPage 2000
release?

Also, which verson(s) of Photoshop is it compatible with?

Image Composer 1.5 is available only with the stand alone version of
FrontPage 2000. My guess is that it would still include the
Impressionist plugin.

Are you saying then that the Image Composer plug-in also works with
Photoshop?

Image Composer 1.5 is a separate product which you can read about on
the Microsoft web site. It comes bundled with the stand alone version
of FrontPage 2000. I don't know for sure if it will include the
Impressionist plugin, but I think it will, because Image Composer 1.5
was also bundled with FrontPage 98 and it included the Impressionist
plugin. As was mentioned earlier, the Impressionist plugin is
substantial because it takes over 6 mb of hard drive space.
