I have been checking out a program called Deep Paint 2D - it has over 100
realistic brushes. The program seems to be working with PSP6 however it is
more of a stand alone program than a plug-in (the ral artist brushes are
WOW)
Is anyone working with these two programs together

I tried it but since I had Painter already it was not a good investment for
me. I does work well though.

Since you have used both programs Painter (6) and Deep Paint 2D which do you
think works better with PSP6.
From what little I know from working with the two programs - DP2D is geared
towards realism and though Painter6
can do realism it seems to be geared to special effects (talking about the
brush tools). The one brush in DP2D
that I really like is the wet thick paint brush (it almost like working with
thick paint loaded brush) and one of the
brushes I like in Painter is the gooey blenders.

I not sure I understand what you mean by realism as I could probably paint
the same with either program. I use PSP for most of my paintings on the
internet. Painter has more bells and whistles and I also think it is
smoother to use, much like the real painting I've not upgraded yet to
Painter 6 but will be after December. I tried Deep Paint for just a short
time and it was an early beta so there where some bugs at the time I used it
and not every thing was working.
