Can't launch PSP X5 Free Trial

I've downloaded the free trial and it seemed to install OK but when I try to launch it, all I get is the screen to register (which I have several times) and another screen behind it asking for my key as if I'd already purchased it.

Has anybody successfully launched the free trial?

Win7 64-bit, i7, 8GB RAM

Pay for professional software and you will not have that problem.
