My primary use for PSP 7 is my "digital darkroom", for photo
manipulation. I don't really use it to design graphics for web pages,
buttons, etc.

What are the best plugins for PSP 7 for photo modifications?
Everything from cleaning up photos, to manipulating them, to turning
them into watercolor-like paintings, etc. I am aware of what is
already in PSP 7 - just looking for more tools.

Thanks,

Jeff,

Please take a look at WinImages R6 - it has immense depth in this
specific area. We also have a special offer for PSP owners to
crossgrade right now, and you probably can't do any better, period, for
what you want to do. No kidding. :-)

Take a look at autoeye. available as a demo at www.autofx.com not
cheap($99.00) but very good and very easy. I use it a lot.

I don't know what other tools you may need for photo manipulation that
aren't in PSP 7, but here's a plugin for simulating painting with various
media: Paint Engine by Fantastic Machines. It's free.

I'd recommend KPT3 (if you can get it) for fancy stuff, Fantastic
Machines Paint Engine for painting simulation and getting some filters
off someone's Photoshop ^_^

Just curious. What would you say AutoEye does better than the PSP 7
photo enhancement tools?

It's instant. Meaning 1 click to get a very good result. I do use PSP a lot
when I've got more time. I use lots of other filters as well, like most PSP
users.

Maybe I'm fussier than you or am just aiming for something
different. :) I've played with this software (and looked at the
patents behind it) and was a bit disappointed. I'd be grateful
if you could send me (e-mail below) before and after pictures
where you got very good results with one click, along with
the settings you used. I'd like to be in tune with user
expectations and, in any event, we're always looking to
improve our tools.

if you do not have one of course
