I'm fitting a model that will be used as a projection for a musical (Annie)
to a photo taken from the position of the video projector. There are real
3D elements on the stage that I have to fit the picture into.
So I set the photo as the background image and the in the camera view
I told it to use the background image. Instead of the photo showing up as
the background in layout, it just turned the background orange. It does
show properly in the render though. Any thoughts?
Haven't used the latest version of LW but my first thoughts are to
check your OpenGL settings?
Is the image too big for your OGL card's memory to store?
I just tried loading a few models and using a 4000x2000 hdr image as the
backdrop, worked fine with an older graphics card. Under display preferences
you have display background image selected and not background color?

Beats me
Thanks for the help though.

Tried turning off OpenGL and see how it handles it? It'll least point
you as to whether that is your issue (which it sounds like to me).
