Why not just farm it out to an outside firm or individual?
FWIW, Blender has a steep learning curve and Maya has a steep price....

"Avatar" = people / or something similar? If that is the case then check
out DAZ Studio (which currently is a freebie...). Plus, you can buy all
sorts of pre-made content to use with it.

If you're looking for someone to do this for you - you might check the
local Craigslist in your area - look under either the "Jobs" or "Gigs"
sections for someone offering to do some freelance work - or write up an
ad yourself describing what you want done and post it there yourself.
