Can anyone please give some suggestions for a good mini-project based
on Computer Graphics.

At what level? Programming? Or using a package?

What kind of project? Static art? Animation? Image manipulation?

If you're into programming, why not start off by trying to write your
own code to load a bitmapped image into memory? This will require a
little research into the .bmp file format, and some hard thinking
about how to represent the bitmap in memory.

If you're not into programming, consider trying to use a package to do
some simple animation.
