because I'm writing volume shaders for mentalray and have to deal with
quite long rendertimes if I use raytraced shadows, I'm searching for
methods to improve speed of my shader.
Then I heard of microvoxels what is something like an extension for a
reyes algorithm that was introduced in mantray by the sidefx people.
Does anyone have a litte bit more informations about this technique?
Would be nice to hear more about it.
